Nick has founded more than twelve companies, several of them in personality and personal growth. Two had successful exits, and one became a global brand. Two he closed because they didn't work — and he counts those among his best teachers.

The company he built over fifteen years was a pioneer in applying machine learning to real-world problems, and the first to get multiple AI systems working together successfully.

Sharmadá is a foundation for personal and spiritual growth that Nick has built with his brother Patrick since 2010, including more than 120 retreats. Much of what HumanIA teaches was tested there first, on real people, over years.

He trained in Jungian psychoanalysis and Internal Family Systems parts work. His teachers since have been direct rather than literary. Adyashanti, Eckhart Tolle, Michael Singer, David Hawkins, Baba Hari Dass and Sri Swami Purna — retreats, individual work, and sitting with them personally over many years. Somatic work with the Newfield Network. Compassionate Inquiry with Gabor Maté. Trauma and trauma healing, extensively. He still works with his own teacher every week.

Fifteen years of research into personality structure led him to test every serious personality instrument in the field for accuracy, using machine learning. Almost none held up across the full range of human personality. Building on the one that did, and working with Katherine Chernick Fauvre, he pioneered the world's most accurate validated Enneagram test.

He has brought this work into leadership development with Microsoft, Google, DHL and major international banks.

Founder and CEO of EXMA, the largest marketing and innovation platform in Latin America — 26 countries, more than 500,000 people, 800 international speakers. Four books, all bestsellers. Two Guinness World Records. Member of the Fast Company Executive Board and a United Nations Advisory Council. Formerly General Manager of Coca-Cola Colombia.

He left the Coca-Cola general manager role at the height of it and built EXMA from nothing. It now runs events, workshops, publishing and consulting across Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Mexico, Bolivia and Dubai, and has worked with more than a hundred Fortune 500 companies — Samsung, Danone, Sanofi, Abbott, Bancolombia and ExxonMobil among them.

He has given more than 650 conferences across 25 countries and four continents. One of his books won an Effie Award, the first book ever to do so.

On the United Nations Advisory Council he works on connecting young people to education across 21 countries.

She has reached more than 500,000 people across the region, as a business leader and in personal development.

She built her organisation out of Colombia and across Latin America over three decades, recruiting, training and developing thousands of people — most of whom had never run anything before. Leadership development at that scale, sustained that long, is uncommon, and it is why she is a founder here.
